MoOD Innovation Platform inspires over 10.000 professional visitors (and up to 100 international trade press journalists) with an extended sample bank.
The MoOD Innovation Sample Bank brings high tech materials as well as materials used in an innovative way. All which can find their use in upholstery, window and wall covering. The accent is on textiles but other materials are taken into account as well.

It's not about the most aesthetic
MoOD Innovation Platform is not so much about being the most aesthetic, or about putting the most trendy product on display: it’s about what is most innovative in terms of technique, performance, use of new materials, intelligent materials and so on.
The MoOD Innovation platform is not only being shown in Brussels. The 2010 sample selection will be on display during the State Of Design Festival in Melboure, Australia from 21 until 24 July.
Still under the name of Decotec, the past editions of the Innovation Platform traveled to Torino and Melbourne. On 1 and 2 July 2008, the sample bank moved to Torino (European city of design) where Decotec was invited to participate in Architex, an exhibition of the most innovative textiles for architecture, civil engineering, street furniture and interior design. The 2008 collection of samples could be discovered once more in Melbourne at Deoration + Design from 16 until 19 July at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. In February 2010 this was repeated for the Decoration + Design show in Sydney where the Innovation Platform 2009 selection was put on display.
